Bruce Paul

Bruce Paul is the Managing Director of Rivel CXLign and the inventor of the Banking Benchmarks®, the world’s largest Branding and Customer Experience studies. The Benchmarks include over 4 million annual prospect and customer reviews of their financial institutions. Bruce formerly was the Global Head of the Financial Services practice at the Nielsen Company, the world’s largest market research company. He also previously led the US Customer Experience business for Greenwich Associates, a strategy consulting firm in Financial Services. In addition, he has held senior roles at Qualtrics and at IPSOS (formerly Synovate).

In those roles, he has worked with many of the leading banks and credit unions across the US and around the world. He has personally designed the Customer Experience and/or Market Research programs at 7 of the 15 biggest North American banks, and scores of smaller Community Banks.

Michele Lando

Michele Lando is the CEO and Founder of Skilset Communications, Inc. and is a highly successful communications strategist. She is the best-selling author of Create Demand For Your Brand. Her TEDx talk, “Aligning Your Purpose, Passion and Profit“, was inspired by her book.
In support of companies achieving their goals and enhancing their cultures, Michele authors and delivers keynotes, customized training, facilitated workshops and Master Class Series’. Langdon Andrews

Sue Bachman

Susan has over 15 years of marketing and design experience leading strong marketing campaigns and strategies including branding, PR, and event management. With a master’s degree in visual communications from SFSU, she also holds a bachelor’s degree in graphic design with a minor in psychology from UMass, with additional banking and leadership certificates along the way. Susan is a team player with a passion for people, marketing and design, and keeping some spontaneity in life. She joined the NEFMA board of directors in 2019.

Jamie Belmore

Main Street Bank

Jamie Belmore oversees the marketing department at Main Street Bank out of Marlborough, MA, and has over 14 years of banking experience, with 10 of those being in financial marketing. Jamie is a Certified Financial Marketing Professional, and has a passion for aligning communications, brand, and customer experience. She has helped to launch and maintain the bank’s social media strategy and financial literacy program. Jamie works closely with all departments to ensure the bank’s message remains true to its actions, and firmly believes that the role of marketing is much deeper than advertising.

Janel Maysonet

Shelley Regin, CFMP

Shelley has 25 years of experience in the financial services industry concentrating in sales, retail banking and marketing. She oversees all sales and marketing functions and leads a team of talented marketers at Country Bank. Shelley’s passionate about building memorable brands through creative marketing insights and strategies. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, holds the professional designation of Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP) and is a 2017 graduate of the American Bankers Association School of Bank Marketing and holds a Social Media Certification from Southern New Hampshire University. Shelley is the Vice President for The New England Financial Marketing Association and an Advisory Board Member for the American Bankers Association Bank Marketing School.

Steven Young

Fifteen years ago, Steven was writing short plays for young adults and then somehow this happened. He began his suspect marketing career in Minneapolis before taking his talents back home to Massachusetts, where he’s worked in financial services for the past twelve years. Steven joined the NEFMA board of directors in 2019, and wrote, co-hosted and DJ’ed the group’s inaugural Social Media Awards show last fall. He ran the 2018 Maine Marathon in 3:31:52 and he’s still irked about the 1:52.
